Grace Medical Clinic partners with area businesses to ensure the health and productivity of our work force. We understand that an employer's most important asset is its employees. A work-related injury or illness impacts employee, employer, and fellow workers. Therefore, we strive to assess and treat injuries efficiently and more cost-effectively than area emergency rooms or other health facilities. We manage all aspects of employee visits to our facility including: waiting time, quality attention to each patient, prompt communication with employer, lost time and recordable accidents, medication and referral costs, "light" duty availability, and minimizing follow-up care when medically appropriate.
To accomplish our goal of keeping employees out of time-consuming emergency rooms, we provide services such as on-site injury management, employee physicals, substance screenings, and radiology. We also practice preventative care with flu immunizations and health screenings. Some services, including drug screening, flu vaccination, breath alcohol testing, and pulmonary function testing are offered "on site".
Because Grace Medical Clinic is locally owned with deep roots in the community, we can be flexible enough to customize health care needs for each company. In addition to our two occupational medicine physicians, we call upon an independent network of conservative specialists when appropriate. All our services revolve around a philosophy of patient-centered care yet maintaining a proper perspective of the complex relationship existing between employee, employer and health care provider.
We believe that the medical community must, from within, provide some answers for spiraling medical costs that affect us all. Grace Medical Clinic is a model for more affordable and efficient medical care.
